Your YapYap circle

A testing buddy

YapYap testing works best when two kids who already know each other can call each other. If your child has a close friend whose family might test too, share this form with them!

Their family’s name (optional)

An external calling card

Who would you want your child’s external calling card to be for — a grandparent, an aunt, a favorite sitter? For now they’ll need an iPhone. If you’re picked, we’ll ask for their photo to make the card.

Who would it be? (optional)

They’ll download the YapApp and make an account so they can get yaps. Who should help them set up?

I’ll handle it, with guidance from Analog Kids I’d like Analog Kids to walk them through it I’m not sure yet

How does your child talk with friends and family now? How often does a grown-up have to help?

What the two weeks involve

A 20-minute onboarding

Testing starts with a 20-minute onboarding with Nina, founder of Analog Kids, to make sure your YapYap is set up and your family is ready to go.

What would you prefer?

In our home Virtual Either works for us

Two weeks, two short surveys

Testing lasts two weeks. We’ll send a quick 10-question survey at the end of each week.

Can you commit to both surveys?

Yes I’m not sure

A calling card exchange

One of the first things we’ll ask your child to do is hand their calling card to their YapYap buddy in person. For younger kids, a grown-up helps.

Does that feel doable?

Yes Probably I’m not sure

Giving it back

Alpha YapYaps are on loan, and they’re precious to us. After the two weeks, our founder picks yours up so we can keep testing with other families.

Does that feel manageable?

Yes I’m not sure

Sharing your story

Capturing your family’s experience

We’d love to capture a little of your child (and their external caller) using YapYap — as naturally as possible, and protecting your family’s privacy. We bring playful masks, can pop an emoji over faces in editing, and shots from behind or the side are great too. If you share your own YapYap moments, tag @AnalogKidsRock and @HelloYapYap!

Would you be comfortable with that?

Yes No

A testimonial

If you love YapYap, we’d be thrilled if you shared a short video about it, ideally as a collaboration with Analog Kids. Absolutely no obligation.

Would you be open to that?
