How it Works

YapYap isn’t an adult landline adapted for kids. It’s designed from a child’s point of view. No numbers to remember. No dialing sequences to navigate. Just a simple way to call Grandma, your best bud, or your cool big cousin.

Why YapYap?

Ninety percent of a child’s brain develops during the first five years of life. These are formative years for learning how to communicate, build relationships, resolve conflicts, and develop social skills.

Most kid-focused landlines and screen-free phones are designed as alternatives to smartphones, entering the picture when kids are ready for a first device. But smartphones often enter a child’s world long before that moment.

YapYap starts earlier. It gives children a way to communicate independently, without a screen in between, while they’re building the social skills that shape how they connect with others for years to come.
